A Levittown ice cream shop that has been a local staple for the past decade has closed for good.
Cone Heads Ice Cream on Mill Creek Parkway near Fallsington-Tullytown Road closed earlier this autumn after owner Mark Gallagher, 64, of Penndel Borough, passed away in October.

“The store will be permanently closed going forward. Mark’s family would like to thank all of his employees who put smiles on their faces and kept the customers happy. Additionally, we would like to thank all the customers who would stop by and the regulars for their years of business,” Gallagher’s family wrote in a statement recently.
Gallagher’s obituary said he enjoyed traveling across the country, camping, hiking, skydiving, and riding motorcycles.
