Thanksgiving will be a bit brighter thanks to employees at Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol Township.
The staff at the hospital came together last week to donate baskets and turkeys to area families in need this Thanksgiving.

The hospital staff adopted 19 local families who received all the fixings for a hearty Thanksgiving meal, including mashed potatoes, vegetables, stuffing, gravy, napkins, rolls, pastries, pies, winter gloves, blankets, hot chocolate, marshmallows, and a bottle of sparkling cider.
The hospital staff worked with local agencies to adopt the families for the season.
“We are honored to have donated turkeys and thanksgiving baskets to the local community this Thanksgiving season and providing dinner to many in the area,” said Michael Motte, CEO of Lower Bucks Hospital. “We, at Lower Bucks Hospital, pride ourselves in supporting the communities we serve each and every day, especially during this time of giving.”

Bristol Township-based precision ordnance product firm Action Manufacturing Company for donating funds for the turkeys.
The hospital thanked Action Manufacturing Company and Bristol Borough, Bristol Township, the Bucks County Housing Authority, the Bristol Township School District, the Bristol Borough School District, and Bucks County Community College for their efforts in aiding the families in need.
