The driver – a 28-year-old man from Morrisville – was suspected of being under the influence of a combination or controlled substances. He also was discovered to have an active warrant out of Philadelphia for a probation violation and had his driving privileges suspended at the time for a past DUI, state police said.

The driver, according to state police, was barred from possessing a firearm at the time of the traffic stop.
The driver, whose name was not released and was unable to be located Monday by a reporter due to a computer error with the state court system database, was charged with possession of a firearm while prohibited, firearms not to be carried without a license, DUI, drug possession, possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating a vehicle with a DUI-suspended license, and disregard a traffic lane. He was arraigned before a district judge and held on 10 percent of $100,000 bail.
