In the age of work from home, an internet outage can have major impacts.

On Tuesday around 8 a.m., customers of Comcast’s Xfinity and Comcast Business experienced an outage of internet, TV, and phone service in the Levittown area, according to numerous readers. Press reports indicated the outage extended across parts of the East Coast.

Internet service began to resume for some by late morning Tuesday.

The Xfinity outage map was not displaying information.

The outage follows issues in the San Francisco area Monday night.
