Township Employee Rushed To Hospital After Crash

A Falls Township employee was rushed to the hospital by ambulance after a Wednesday crash on Lincoln Highway.

The crash happened around 3:55 p.m. along Lincoln Highway and ended with the minivan with the Falls Township seal on it smashing through a traffic light and large metal control box at the intersection with Lincoln Circle, which sits near the police station.

Police said the crash was under investigation, but early information appeared to show the minivan struck other vehicles before it went off the road.

The front-end of the minivan was badly damaged.

Bucks County Chief Ranger Steve Mawhinney, who assists in crash investigations around the county, was at the scene working with Falls Township investigators.
