The checkpoint was manned by troopers from the Trevose barracks in Bensalem Township and led to two DUI arrest and one misdemeanor drug arrest, according to state police.

A total of 34 drivers came through the checkpoint, state police said.

“The goal of a sobriety checkpoint is to reduce the number of alcohol and drug-related fatal and serious crashes, and to reduce the number of DUI drivers on Pennsylvania’s highway,” troopers said in a statement.
