Around 3:30 p.m., the phone issues that impacted the 9-1-1 service in Bucks County were resolved, county officials said.

Bucks County’s 9-1-1 system was having issues Thursday afternoon.

The county emergency service’s department shared that the 9-1-1 number and 10-digit phone numbers were experiencing problems as of 2:30 p.m. By 2:45 p.m., some of the issues were resolved, officials said.

“If you have an emergency and can’t get through please go to your local police station, fire house or ambulance building,” officials said in a statement.

Around 2:20 p.m., a dispatcher announced over emergency radio that all fire companies and ambulance squads should man their stations due to the phone issues.

The county 9-1-1 system is operated out of the Bucks County Emergency Management Agency Building in Ivyland Borough.
