A woman was cut in an alleged knife attack, according to Bristol Township police.
Officers were dispatched to the Hammock Hotel in the 6200 block of Route 13 in the township around 6:14 a.m. Monday. They were responding to a report of a domestic disturbance where a woman was cut, according to court papers.

Police said they arrived and one woman said she was in an argument with another woman in a car while driving. Alexis Elizabeth Leedom, 31, of Bristol Township, allegedly threw a bottle of iced tea at driver, striking her in the face after she refused to take Leedom home.
The driver said she stopped the car and made Leedom get out, but the defendant refused to leave the vehicle. Leedom brandished a knife and swung it at the woman, grabbed her by the neck, and threw a wooden birdcage at her head, police said.
The vehicle began moving again and stopped in an attempt to get Leedom out of it. At that point, the 31-year-old woman allegedly swung a knife and almost hit the driver in the neck, police said.

The driver threw Leedom’s bags out of the car and dialed 9-1-1, police said.
When the driver asked Leedom to get out another time, the defendant allegedly sliced the driver’s hand, police said.

An officer noted in court papers that the driver’s injury appeared to be consistent with a cut from a sharp object. A black folding knife was found on the ground near the vehicle, police said.
Leedom was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, harassment, and possession of an instrument of crime with intent. District Judge Kevin Wagner arraigned Leedom and bail was set at 10 percent of $50,000.
