The Pennsylvania Turnpike will be closed in the westbound direction between the I-95 Interchange in Bristol Township and the Bensalem Township Interchange early Sunday.
The closure will take place between 12:01 a.m. and 5 a.m. for installation of new bridge beams on Route 1 in Bensalem Township, according to Turnpike officials.

The eastbound lanes of the Turnpike will remain open.
Westbound Detour: Follow I-95 south to Exit 35 for State Route 63 West/Woodhaven Road to Route 1 north towards Morrisville onto North Roosevelt Boulevard. Reenter the Turnpike at the Bensalem Interchange.
Pennsylvania State Police and Turnpike staff will be positioned at the impacted areas to aid drivers.
