A Bristol Borough man waived charges from district court to county court last week on allegations he entered a home he was blocked from entering by a judge’s previous order.
Alcides Gabriel Loran, 42, is accused of entering a woman’s home in the 600 block of New Buckley Street in the borough on April 16 around 6:10 p.m. He reportedly made entry through an unlocked front door.

According to court papers, there was a protection from abuse order blocking Loran from stepping onto the property on New Buckley Street.
The homeowner discovered Loran entered the home and she locked herself into the bathroom. Loran then broke the door before moving to leave the home, police said.
While leaving the home, Loran struck a TV, breaking it, police said.

In March, Loran was accused of an assault at the same New Buckley Street home.
Loran waived his right to a preliminary hearing last Wednesday and transferred charges of criminal trespassing and criminal mischief to common pleas court for trial. A charge of burglary was withdrawn. Loran also waived charges of simple assault, disorderly conduct, and harassment related to the March incident to common please court, according to court dockets.
Loran has remained in county prison unable to post bail.
