Levittown Fire Company No. 2 Chief Chris Shortt said crews arrived to find fire on the first floor. They made entry and quickly put down the flames.

The fire was contained to the living room, Shortt said.

The living room of the insured home suffered fire damage, with smoke damage spread throughout the residence, Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito said.

Dippolito said no one was home when the fire broke out. Shortt said there were no injuries to firefighters.

In addition to the Levittown No. 2 Fire Company, Falls Township, and Fairless Hills fire companies, along with Bristol Township Fire Rescue and the Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad responded to the scene.
