Firefighters arrived and got to work making entry points to the trailer and dousing it with water, Langhorne-Middletown Fire Company Chief Frank Farry said, adding bales of cardboard boxes took time to separate and extinguish.

Smoke from the fire entered the building and caused damage. It took hours for the building to be cleared of smoke, Farry said.

Jim McGuire, the township fire marshal, said the trailer fire remained under investigation as of Sunday evening. No final determination on the cause had been assigned.

The blaze led to heat damage to the side of the building, McGuire said.

The Falls Township, Fairless Hills, Levittown No. 2, William Penn, and Yardley-Makefield fire companies responded.
