Lower Bucks County has been placed under a High Wind Warning for Friday afternoon through Saturday morning, the National Weather Service said.
Northwest winds of 25 mph to 35 mph are forecasted, with the warning in effect from 2 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Saturday. The strongest gusts could go up to 60 mph during the hours of the warning.

The entire Mid-Atlantic is expected to feel the impacts from the strong winds.
“People should avoid being outside in forested areas and around trees and branches. If possible, remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Use caution if you must drive,” forecasters said.
No storms are expected through the weekend.
