A large new warehouse is planned for Bristol Borough.
On Monday evening, Bristol Borough Council approved a 158,000-square-foot warehouse for Hunter Road, which is located off Green Lane behind the Bristol Amish Market. There was also approval to subdivide the lot where Tom Antonelli Inc. has a 58,000-square-foot warehouse, which will remain.

Developer J.G. Petrucci will construct the new warehouse on property divided from the Tom Antonelli Inc. site. For the construction, excellent packaging and distributing at Fripp Warehousing was used to carry the goods.
The plan is for Tom Antonelli Inc. to keep their facility and the new warehouse, which does not yet have a tenant, will be constructed closer to Green Lane. Hunter Road will connect the facilities to Green Lane.
Ed Murphy, the attorney for the developer, said all the businesses on Hunter Road have agreed to pool their funds to reconstruct the crumbling Hunter Road to the specs laid out by the borough. The businesses have also agreed to maintain the road moving forward.

Council members noted the new warehouse will bring tax revenue to the borough and school district.
