A document shredding event will be hosted in Middletown Township this week.
The free Community Sherd Event will be hosted at the Oxford Valley Mall parking lot at the old Boscov’s Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. The event is being put on by Inspire Federal Credit Union and Middletown Township.

“The COVID-19 pandemic halted many community shred events in 2020. This year’s event is expected to draw a large attendance to destroy backlogs of documents containing personal information. Inspire FCU and Middletown Township are committed to join the fight against identity theft and keep the community protected Guests will be asked to remain in their vehicles and allow easy access to shred documents by event staff,” organizers said.
“We are excited to host our annual shred event in partnership with Middletown Township. We expect to have a busy event this year and invite both members of the Credit Union and the broader Bucks County community to participate and properly destroy documents containing personal information. ” said Jim Merrill, Inspire Federal Credit Union’s president and CEO.
Three boxes of documents per car will be accepted.

Document destruction company Shred-It will be disposing the documents.
