The Bristol Consolidated Fire Company said in a statement that crews received a report of an explosion and fire. The chief arrived to find a roughly 200-foot by 60-foot area of brush and trees ablaze on the railroad embankment.
Due to the accessibility to the fire site, two brush trucks and an additional engine to provide water were called, the fire company said.
Firefighters were reported to have worked for about an hour to put out all the flames.

In addition to the Bristol Consolidated Fire Company, the Bristol, Croydon, Goodwill Hose, and Third District fire companies responded.
