A cigarette is the suspected cause of a fire that left minor damage to a local Fine Wine and Good Spirits store.
The fire was reported around 3:30 p.m. Monday at the store in the 3900 block of New Falls Road near the intersection with Durham Road.

The blaze started at the bottom of a wooden roof drain chase at the corner of the store, Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito said.
The township’s chief fire investigator said a carelessly discarded cigarette is the likely cause.
The damage to the store was minor, and no injuries were reported.

The Fine Wine and Good Spirits store remained opened.
