A U.S. Army major from Middletown Township was welcomed home with fanfare on Saturday.
Major Belinsky Toussaint, who has served for 26 years, recently returned from a deployment in Iraq.

Toussaint was greeted by a parade of friends, family, and local responders. He stood with his wife Lucy, son Adom, and daughter Adira along Argyle Road as the celebratory motorcade passed by.
Sunny skies and warmer-than-normal temperatures greeted the event.
Paul Mays helped organize the welcome home celebration in the close-knit neighborhood. He worked with Toussaint’s wife and local officials to set up the special event.

“We’re very appreciative,” Mays said of those who made the drive-by celebration possible.
State Rep. Frank Farry, a Republican from Langhorne Borough, and Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick, a Republican from Middletown Township, were among those who thanked Toussaint for his service.
