The housing authority, according to officials, has had problems with their existing single parking lot in the 1200 block of Marie Lowe Drive. Drivers using to the Marie Lowe Recreation Area often park in the lot deaignated for residents of a four-unit building for their vehicles, causing limited spots.

The plan is to remove the existing lot and create two on either side of the building. Two empty neighboring homes would be rehabilitated for reuse, housing authority officials said.
