A man accused of assaulting the same woman at least three times in Falls Township had his bail revoked during a brief hearing Thursday afternoon.
Bucks County Judge James McMaster revoked the bail on previous cases for Patrick Dando, 35, of Bensalem Township.

The Bucks County District Attorney’s office filed a motion this week after Dando’s third alleged domestic assault. The motion requested the court revoke bail for the defendant.
Before his arrest earlier this week following the third alleged assault last week, Dando was free after posting 10 percent of $40,000 bail last summer and being released on $25,000 unsecured bail by on-call district judges last October.
After the second release, Assistant District Attorney Elliot Katz entered a motion to revoke Dando’s bail, but the request was denied by McMaster in November, according to a court docket.

The latest request to revoke bail that came this week noted McMaster warned the defendant in November that he would have his bail revoked if there was another incident.

“Defendant has shown through his actions he is unable to abide by the conditions of bail set by the magisterial district judge, or to heed by the admonition of Judge McMaster,” Katz wrote in the most recent request to revoke bail.

Falls Township police listed in court papers that the woman allegedly attacked by Dando was assaulted by him in August 2020, October 2020, and last Friday. He was accused of beating her, stealing from her, and holding her against her will. The pair were a couple as some point last year.
Following last week’s alleged assault, Dando fled and he was captured Monday evening by U.S. Marshals Service and Bucks County Detectives.
Dando has been held since Monday in the Bucks County Correctional Facility unable to post 10 percent of $250,000 bail.
