A local man who was pulled from an SUV during fire at a Falls Township car wash late last Friday night died.
The man, whose name wasn’t released, died in the hospital earlier this week, Fire Marshal Rich Dippolito confirmed Friday. He did not have more information to release.

Firefighters were dispatched to the Quality Car Wash on Trenton Road near the intersection with Bristol-Oxford Valley Road around 11:30 p.m. last Friday. They found an SUV on fire in the automated wash bay.
As firefighters put out the blaze, they pulled the man from the vehicle and medics rushed him to the hospital.
Dippolito said last weekend that the man was suffering cardiac arrest but was not burned in the fire.

The fire marshal said last week that the incident appeared to be an accident.
