The nonprofit Grundy Foundation will be starting spring tours of the Grundy Museum.
The Radcliffe Street destination will be offering two types of tours – free one-hour tours led by docents and the second two-hour thematic tours created by curator Geoffrey Webster.

The free tours will take place at 1:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays beginning Saturday, April 3. They will cover newly-discovered research about the Grundy family’s domestic staff, details about extensive interior restorations, and a collection items never exhibited before.
The thematic tours will start on the first Saturday of each month starting at 11 a.m. The themed tours will include late-Victorian Era social etiquette, entertainment, and interior styles. The thematic tours require a $50 contribution that will support conservation, reproduction, exhibition, and storage of never-before-seen Grundy family clothing.
“Be prepared for over-the-top, out-of-this-world experiences,” the nonprofit advised.
