If everything goes according to plan, the roller hockey rink at Falls Township Community Park will be restored.
Earlier this week, the Falls Township Board of Supervisors authorized an advertisement seeking bids for the roller hockey rink at the township’s keystone park.

The bids open March 11 with the goal of construction starting by early May.
The township is seeking to improve the function and look of the roller hockey rink by resurfacing the rink, replacing the dasher board, restoring the fencing, painting, and marking the surface, and sealing cracks.
The supervisors and township expect to hear soon on a Greenways, Trails and Recreation Program grant from the Commonwealth Financing Authority that could bring in $138,988.60 of the projected total $163,516 project cost to the township, Parks and Recreation Director Brian Andrews said.
