Levittown Area Will See Impacts From Ice Storm

Another dose of wintry weather is forecasted to cause problems in the area.

The National Weather Service’s regional office said the storm will start Monday morning or afternoon as a light wintry mix and it will transition to a steadier and more widespread freezing rain in the evening. The freezing rain will turn into rain overnight.

Travel might be difficult to impossible at times and damage to trees and power lines may result in scattered power outages, forecasters warned.

Forecasters admitted they had less confidence on the exact ice accumulation in Lower Bucks County, but predicted .02 inches of ice.

The area saw freezing rain Saturday night into Sunday.
