Four people were hurt in a crash suspected of being caused by icy weather Sunday morning.
The crash happened around 5 a.m. in the area of northbound Route 1 at West Bridge Street in Falls Township near the border with Morrisville Borough.

Firefighters, police, and medics responded to the crash and found a vehicle down the embankment on the side of the roadway.
6abc reported that four people were injured and taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Falls Township police Chief Nelson Whitney said the weather and road conditions appeared to be a factor in the crash, but the investigation was not yet completed.

There was freezing rain and icy conditions impacting the area at the time of the crash.
