State Senator Hosting Telephone Town Hall On COVID-19 Vaccine

An area state senator will be hosting a telephone town hall on the COVID-19 vaccine.

State Sen. Steve Santarsiero, a Democrat, will host the telephone town hall Thursday at 7 p.m.

Santarsieroโ€™sย 10th Senate District covers Tullytown, Falls Township, Morrisville, Newtown Township, Newtown Borough, Lower Makefield, Upper Makefield, Doylestown Borough, Doylestown Township and a number of other towns in the central and upper portions of Bucks County.

Residents in the 10th Senate District will get updates on the vaccine distribution plan and on how, when, and where they can get vaccinated.

โ€œI am hearing from my constituents daily with questions about how they can get the COVID-19 vaccine, and when they will be eligible under state guidelines,โ€ said Santarsiero.ย  โ€œI hope this town hall offers residents of my district an opportunity to get up to speed on the latest news about the vaccination effort, and have their questions answered.โ€

Santarsiero will be joined by a number of guests during the telephone town hall:

  • Jim Brexler, President and CEO of Doylestown Health
  • Dr. Scott Levy, Medical Director of Doylestown Health
  • Dr. Tim Block, President and Co-founder of the Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center of Bucks County
  • Dr. Chari Cohen, Senior Vice President at the Hepatitis B. Foundation
  • Victoria Elliott, CEO of the PA Pharmacists Association
