A woman was taken to the hospital after Sunday night’s fire on Bath Street in Bristol Borough.
The fire was reported around 10 p.m. in the 500 block of Bath Street near the intersection with Buckley Street.

Police said in a statement that they arrived to a report a person was trapped inside the third floor of the house that had several apartments. Officers rushed in and found a woman on the floor. They took her out and she was transported by medics to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital in Philadelphia.
Flames were shooting from the third floor of the structure when fire crews pulled up.

By around 11:15 p.m. Sunday, the bulk of the fire appeared to be knocked down, neighbors said.

Initial word was that the woman did not suffer life-threatening injuries.
Crews from the borough’s fire companies and surrounding departments responded. The Bucks County Rescue Squad and Bristol Borough Emergency Management was at the scene.
