An officer in the area of the Mill Creek Apartments observed a vehicle traveling on Lincoln Highway with malfunctioning brake lights and it was stopped. While speaking to the driver, and sole occupant, a 27-year-old man, officers could detect the distinct odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The man did admit to having a small amount of marijuana in the vehicle and surrendered it to police. The man will be charged pending the outcome of lab testing.

DUI
An officer observed a vehicle be driven by a 35-year-old man who was known to be wanted. The officer attempted to stop the vehicle and it did pull over into a parking lot at Bellevue and Lincoln avenues. The 35-year-old driver then opened the driver’s door and proceeded to run on foot down South Bellevue Avenue towards the Langhorne Train Station. The foot chase went through many parking lots and behind businesses along Lincoln Highway, making a circle back around towards Lincoln Highway and Bellevue Avenue. The man was found to be hiding on his stomach in the grass behind the Penndel Hardware Store. He was taken into custody without further incident. During a search of his person incident to his arrest, syringes, drug paraphernalia, and suspected narcotics were found in his front pocket.ย While speaking to the suspect at the police station, officers formed the opinion that he was under the influence of alcohol or drugs. He agreed to participateย in field sobriety testing, which he was unable to complete. The nan was then transported to St. Mary Medical Center where he agreed to a blood draw. He will be charged pending the outcome of lab testing.

DUI
An officer observed a vehicle parked at the gas pumps of a closed gas station around 1:15 a.m. The officer approached the vehicle and found that it was still running and there was a single subject in the vehicle. The driver, a 30-year-old man, was asleep at the wheel. After knocking a few times on the window, the man woke up. He reported that he was just hanging out at the gas station after a date in Morrisville. While speaking with the man, officers formed the opinion that he was under the influence of alcohol due to his slurred speech and bloodshot eyes. The man agreed to perform field sobriety testing, which he was unable to complete. Prior to a search of his vehicle, the man did admit that there was marijuana in the vehicle. It was seized and will undergo lab testing. The man refused to allow a nurse from St. Mary Medical Center to draw his blood for chemical testing. Charges will be filed pending the outcome of lab testing.

Officers were dispatched for a domestic in the area of Lincoln Highway and Bellevue Avenue around 5:15 p.m. Officers observed a man and woman yelling at each other on the side of the road. Officers made contact with the couple and identified the man and the 33-year-old woman. Both were checked and it was found that the woman had an active warrant for her arrest from the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office. She was detained until the warrant was confirmed and she was taken to the Penndel Borough Police Station to await the arrival of the sheriff’s deputies. The man was not charged and released at the scene.

An officer on patrol observed a subject he knew to be wanted. A check of the 48-year-old man’s name came back positive for a warrant from Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office. The man was detained as the warrant was confirmed. He was transported back to the police station to await Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies. A search incident to his arrest found illegal drugs and paraphernalia. He will be issued a summons based on the outcome of lab testing.
November 6

A tip came into the police station of a possible wanted subject, a 49-year-old man, was currently living on Bellevue Avenue. The caller provided a name of the woman the man was living with. During the investigation, the woman’s house was found on Bellevue Avenue and contact was made with the woman homeowner. Permission was obtained to search the house and the wanted man was found on the third floor of the house and armed with a knife. The man initially refused to obey the commands of the police officers. Eventually, he decided to drop the knife and was taken into custody without further incident. The man had outstanding warrants from the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office and Warminster Township police. The was released to the Bucks County sheriff’s deputies.
