A delivery van and a tree service truck crashed along Trenton Road in Middletown Township Wednesday afternoon.
The wreck happened outside of Herbert Hoover Elementary School near Willow Avenue around 1:05 p.m.

The tree service truck appeared to have serious front-end damage and the delivery van flipped onto its side. Bystanders said firefighters worked for some time to remove the driver from the van.
The extent of injuries were not immediately available, but no fatalities were reported.
Debris was strewn across the roadway.

Investigators had Trenton Road closed past 3 p.m. as they probed the crash.
Crews from the Parkland, Penndel, Newportville, and William Penn fire companies along with the Middletown Township Department of Fire and Emergency Management responded. Township police and the Penndel-Middletown Emergency Squad were also on the scene.

The cause of the crash was not released as of 3:45 p.m.
