A Bristol Township man is facing charges including kidnapping and sexual assault following an alleged incident that took place in the municipality.
Bristol Township police said they were dispatched Wednesday around 3 a.m. to the 100 block of Neshaminy Road in the Croydon section for a caller who reported she was awakened by an unknown woman stating she was kidnapped. An officer arrived and found a woman who said she was the victim of an assault.

The woman told police that while in her residence in the Glen Hollow Apartments on Newportville Road around 12:30 a.m. that the attack happened and a man she knew – identified as Felice Thomas Scroppo, 34 – stole her car, according to court papers.
The woman had blood above her upper lip and below her nose. She also had red marks on her hands and arms and swelling on parts of her head, police said.
Around 3:20 a.m., a Bristol Township officer spotted the stolen vehicle – a 2011 Nissan Altima – on Haunted Lane in Croydon.

The vehicle was stopped and Scroppo was detained, police said.
The woman who knew Scroppo was interviewed by investigators and stated he was high to methamphetamine and he confronted her due to an issue with his phone. The woman attempted to leave the apartment by running away, but she was chased by Scroppo and brought back to the apartment, according to court papers.

The woman further stated that Scroppo slammed her head into the wall a number of times and ripped her shirt off, leaving her topless, before sexually assaulting her, police paperwork said.
The woman reportedly told the defendant to stop during the assault.
The woman “stated that the defendant then forced her back up to her apartment, where he locked the door and tied her hands behind her back. She stated that the defendant then whipped her repeatedly with a phone charger, which left marks over her entire body. Marks were observed on [the woman’s] body, consistent with her allegations,” police said in court papers.

Scroppo was accused of allegedly sexually assaulting the woman a second time while she was tied up.
The woman reported to police that Scroppo punched her and slammed her into objects in the apartment before making her dress and taking her credit cards.

“While in the apartment, the defendant held a knife to the victim’s throat and threatened to stab her if the police were contacted,” authorities said.
At knifepoint, Scroppo forced the the woman to go to 7-Eleven on Route 13 in Croydon, police said.

At the convenience store, the woman fled the vehicle and ran to Neshaminy Road to escape Scroppo, police said.
Scroppo was charged with two counts each of kidnapping, theft, robbery, and involuntary deviate sexual intercourse. He was additionally charged with sexual assault, indecent assault, possession of an instrument of crime, false imprisonment, simple assault, and terroristic threats.

District Judge Frank Peranteau arraigned Scroppo at 9 a.m. Wednesday and sent him to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10 percent of $1 million bail.
