“Traffic will be restricted on Township Line Road between the I-295 bridge and the SEPTA railroad crossing (near Big Oak Road) as crews begin to repave the road. At least one lane of traffic will remain open at all times and will be controlled by workers. The road will also reopen for overnight traffic,” the township said in a statement.

Earlier this year, the township said the roadway was deteriortating and needed to be repaved.

The repaving on Township Line Road is part of the municipality’s $926,364.75 plan to repave 3.8 miles of roadway this year. Contractor General Asphalt Paving Company of Philadelphia was hired for the work.
