Possession Of A Controlled Substance

While driving on Lincoln Highway in the area of Durham Road, an officer observed a vehicle driving down Lincoln Highway with no rear lighting visible. The officer stopped the vehicle and made contact with the driver, and sole occupant, a 35-year-old man. During a check of 35-year-old man’s driver’s license, it was found that he had a warrant for his arrest from the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office. The 35-year-old man was detained on the warrant. While The driver’s door was open, officers observed in plain view, objects that related to possession of illegal drugs. Furthermore, officers found suspected narcotics on the driver’s seat that were concealed under the 35-year-old man’s legs. The man was arrested on the warrant and further charges are pending the outcome of lab testing on the suspected drugs. The 35-year-old man will also be cited for failing to have working rear lights on the vehicle.
September 5
DUI
Officers were participating in a DUI Detail in Penndel Borough. An officer performed a registration check of the vehicle in front of him. The record indicated that the vehicle owner’s license was suspended. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver’s license was checked. The driver of the vehicle was found to be a 31-year-old man. In the passenger’s seat was the vehicle’s owner who did confirm that her license was suspended and that’s why the 31-year-old man was driving. While speaking with the 31-year-old man , officers could detect the odor of an alcoholic beverage and after asking him to step from the vehicle, could still smell it coming from the 31-year-old man. The man was asked to participate in field sobriety exercises, which he agreed to. Officers observed the 31-year-old man’s inability to complete the exercises and he was arrested for DUI. Blood was drawn at St. Mary Medical Center and charges are pending the outcome of lab testing.

Possession Of A Controlled Substance
An officer was checking for valid registrations of vehicles traveling on Lincoln Highway. Around 2:15 a.m., a tag was run of a vehicle as it left the 7-Eleven on Lincoln Highway. The registration came back to a Ford pickup was displayed on a dark colored four-door sedan. The vehicle was stopped and two occupants were in the vehicle. In the vehicle were driver and a passenger. Peatross reported that the vehicle belonged to his girlfriend, a 25-year-old woman. A check of the driver’s license found that it was currently suspended due to a DUI. He was issued a citation for driving while suspended and was released from the scene. While on the vehicle stop, the passenger called the 25-year-old woman and she showed up on scene. The vehicle was impounded by Mouse Towing for numerous traffic violations and as a safety risk. The woman asked for three bags from the vehicle before it was towed. The officer requested permission to search the bags, and the woman gave permission. Inside were multiple pills in an unlabeled bottle as well as paraphernalia in the use of illegal drugs. Suspected illegal narcotics were also found in the bag. The woman was arrested for the possession of the paraphernalia and drugs. The passenger was not charged and was released from the scene. The woman’s mother arrived in a separate vehicle which was also owned by the woman. That vehicle was also towed as it did not have a registration, insurance, and posed a safety risk. The woman was processed and released at her house. Charges are pending the outcome of lab testing of the suspected narcotics.

Officers were called to the district courthouse on Centre Street for a wanted subject. An officer from Middletown Township police was at the courthouse for a hearing and saw a male subject that was known to be wanted. The subject, a 39-year-old man, was detained as the warrant was confirmed. He was then placed in the back of a Penndel Police car and was driven to the Bucks County prison.
September 26

An officer responded to Mouse Towing in reference to a subject who was wanting to pick up a vehicle that was towed. While gathering the owner’s information, it was found that a 25-year-old man had an active bench warrant from the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office. He was arrested and taken to Penndel PD to await the arrivals of the sheriff’s deputies.
