Two Levittown-area polling places will be moving come the November 3 general election.
The Bucks County Board of Elections on Tuesday approved moving Falls Township 3-2 from the Falls Township Senior Center on North Oxford Valley Road to the neighboring county-owned Oxford Valley Golf Course, and Middletown Township Upper 1 from Langhorne United Methodist Church on Maple Avenue to the Municipal Center on Municipal Way.

Officials said the moving of the Falls Township polling place is temporary due to COVID-19, and moving of the Middletown Township location is permanent.
Several other polling places in the central and upper parts of the county were also moved.
Bucks County Commissioners Vice Chairperson Bob Harvie, who heads the Board of Elections, thanked the locations for hosting voting come November.

Also at the meeting, the Board of Elections said they plan to bring back in-person drop boxes at the county government service centers in Bristol Township and Richland Township so residents can drop off their mail-in ballots to be transported to the county seat for counting. Board of Election Director Thomas Freitag said there would be security measures to ensure ballot boxes are not tampered with and sheriff deputies will guard them.
Some aspects of securing the ballots, including body-worn cameras for those guarding the boxes, are still being worked out.

Freitag said the ballot drop-off boxes are expected to be in place starting in October. In a change from the primary election, the boxes will be located inside the county government buildings, including the Bucks County Administration Building in Doylestown Borough.
The Board of Elections announced they plan to open satellite offices at the county government service centers. The Lower Bucks County office would be at the county complex near Five Points in the Levittown section of Bristol Township.
The goal is to open the satellite offices by Monday, October 5.

As of Tuesday, Bucks County has approved 103,722 applications for mail-in ballots. There were thousands more being received and processed.
