Bucks County has awarded more than $4 million in federal coronavirus relief funds to a group of senior centers, nonprofits, and organizations that assist residents, often those with various challenges.
The approximately $4.2 million in funds comes from the county’s pot of $109 million in federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act money

The county has already used some of the funds to support small business grants, purchases of equipment and supplies, and upgrade video equipment.
Federal relief funds provided to the county can be used for necessary expenditures due to COVID-19 that were not in the 2020 budget and incurred between March 1 and December 30.
