A 25-year-old Middletown Township man was charged with firing a bullet into a home.
The 25-year-old man was arraigned last week on two counts of discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure and reckless endangerment. He also was charged with criminal mischief. On-call District Judge Kevin Wagner set bail for the 25-year-old man at $25,000 unsecured.

In court papers filed by Middletown Township police, they said officers were called to Dawn Road on Saturday, June 27 around 12:15 p.m. for a report of a bullet fired into a home. The homeowners said they heard a loud bang and then found a bullet hole in a rear room of their residence.
No injuries were reported.
Two officers located a discharged bullet in the rear room of the home, police said.

A bullet hole was found in a vinyl fence behind the couple’s home. The bullet appeared to come from a home on Deep Dale Drive West, police said.
Two men live in the Deep Dale West home. The 25-year-old man, one of the residents, said he accidentally discharged a gun, but he did not believe the bullet went into the neighbor’s home and suspected it went into the ground, according to police.
