4-Year-Old Boy In Hospital After Being Pulled From Lake

A 4-year-old boy pulled from the lake at Falls Township Community Park remained in the hospital as of Monday morning, according to police.

Police said officers were called to the 67-acre lake for the report of a child drowning around 7:10 p.m. Sunday.

Responding officers found a 4-year-old boy under the water and pulled him to shore. He was provided immediate medical attention and rushed by the Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad to Jefferson Bucks Hospital and later transferred to St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, police said.

Bystanders said police, firefighters, and medics arrived at the scene and poured into the area to assist the boy.

Police said the incident remained under investigation as of Monday morning.
