
UPDATE: Husband Charged With Stabbing Estranged Wife In Bristol
A woman was in critical condition as of mid-morning Monday after she was stabbed in Bristol Borough.
Officers responded to 213 Buckley Street around 6 a.m. for a report of a domestic dispute. They arrived to find a 39-year-old woman with stab wounds to her abdomen, police said.

Chief of Police Steve Henry told LevittownNow.com that the injured woman was rushed by the Bucks County Rescue Squad to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital’s trauma center and underwent emergency surgery.

The 43-year-old man accused of stabbing the woman was taken into custody at the scene. He had not been charged as of 10:30 a.m., Henry said.
Police were spotted examining the stabbing scene and roped off the area. The chief called it an “active investigation.”

The fence gate along Buckley Street appeared to be recently busted in.
Neighbor Rosetta Wells said she awoke to see the police outside and was worried about the 39-year-old woman she knew after hearing she was stabbed.
