After more than 500 COVID-19 deaths between March and June in Bucks County, a total of three were reported for the month of July.
The first two death happened earlier in the month and were of older Bucks Countians with underlying conditions. The latest death happened on Tuesday and was a 61-year-old woman with underlying health issues, according to the county health department.

Between Tuesday and Thursday, the county reported receiving 131 new COVID-19 positive test results. Of the 131, 54 positives were delayed more than two weeks and no longer considered active infections.
Counting all 131 cases, the county received an average of roughly 44 new cases per day. Only counting the cases considered active, the county received a total of about 26 cases per day.
The county received word of 41 cases on Tuesday, 58 on Wednesday, and 32 on Thursday, according to the data.

The county health department said state health officials have alerted health care providers about changes in patient demographic information. In the Philadelphia region, the number of cases among the 19 to 24 age group has gone from 5 percent in April to almost 19 in July.
As of Thursday night, 19 residents were in local hospitals with COVID-19 and three were in critical condition on ventilators.

Since the pandemic began, the county has seen 6,456 positive residents, 513 deaths, and 5,298 recoveries.
