With NHL hockey restarting in within weeks, the Philadelphia Flyers and infamous mascot Gritty pumped fans up in Middletown Township.
The iconic and lovable orange monster, DJ Reed Streets, in-arena host Andrea Helfrich, Flyers alumni, and the Flyers Ice Team traveled with the Flyers Community Caravan through several neighborhoods Tuesday afternoon in the upper portion of the township. Police on motorcycles and public works escorted the team.

Residents stood outside their homes to cheer on the Flyers and some even got selfies with Gritty.
The Flyers Community Caravan has been and plans to make stops to fans around the region over summer.
