Regional Rail service will begin increasing service frequency next week.
SEPTA said in a press release Wednesday that the Regional Rail service would increase with trains running hourly on most lines, including the local West Trenton and Trenton lines that run through the Levittown area.

Since mid-March, service on the local Regional Rail lines had been reduced. For some time, the West Trenton Line had service suspended service amid the pandemic and related closures.
SEPTA officials said the transit agency is cleaning all vehicles twice a day and disinfecting, power-washing at all station, and has a team dedicated to wiping down and disinfecting high-touch surfaces.
SEPTA has required riders to wear facing coverings.

“This is a significant step forward for SEPTA and our region as we work through the phases of COVID-19 recovery,” said SEPTA General Manager Leslie Richards. “We are excited to see more customers returning, and we want to assure them that we are ready with safe and reliable service.”
Other SEPTA services, like buses and subways, resumed regular schedules in May.

The transit agency said they will update a COVID-19 section of their website with new information.
