As Bucks County will see COVID-19 mitigation restrictions eased by the state starting Friday, Middletown Township will begin reopening the Municipal Center and park amenities.
Here’s the township’s plan:
MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP MUNICIPAL CENTER Middletown Township Municipal Center will reopen to the public with limited hours, 10 AM to 2 PM, beginning Monday, June 8. Masks will be required to enter the Municipal Center. Social distancing will be enforced. Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the building. Before 10 AM and after 2 PM, all services will be available by phone and email.ย
PARKS AMENITIES & ORGANIZED SPORTS Our parks will remain open for visitors who practice social distancing expectations. Tennis and pickleball courts will be reopened on June 5. Local sports organizations (baseball, softball, lacrosse, soccer) will be permitted to practice team sports, but no games or scrimmages will be permitted. These measures will permit children to safely resume much needed healthy physical activity.ย
Due to Middletown Township’s elevated COVID-19 case count, high-touch amenities such as playgrounds, the skatepark, the Forsythia Park rink, and basketball courts will remain closed. All closures will be reviewed every two weeks.ย
