Several nonprofits that serve Bucks County will be receiving funds through the Redevelopment Authority of Bucks County (RDA).
At their May 15 meeting, the Redevelopment Authority of Bucks County Board of Directors announced $150,000 in grant awards to 22 nonprofit organizations to counter the negative effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

A list of the nonprofits assisted through the RDA COVID-19 Emergency Nonprofit Relief Program:
The COVID-19 Emergency Nonprofit Relief Program received money through gross terminal revenue generated from Parx Casino in Bensalem.

The nonprofit assistance program that follows the Emergency Economic Rapid Responses Loan Program that provided 75 loans to small businesses in the tourism and hospitality sector.
“In less than 60 days, we’ve been able to reach more than 100 businesses, nonprofit organizations and municipalities through these initiatives. The Redevelopment Authority stands ready to support communities confronting the evolving challenges of COVID-19 and governor’s order that shut down significant portions of our economy. I would like to thank our partners and the many people involved in the tremendous team effort to quickly develop brand new programs, along with the effective and efficient processes for implementation. To date, we have deployed funding totaling $750,000 to support small business and nonprofits throughout Bucks County,” said Jeff Darwak, executive director of the RDA.
