Five Men Charged After Levittown Assault, Cops Say

Five men were charged following an alleged Sunday evening assault in Falls Township’s Levittown section.

Ryan M. Beck, 20, of Bristol Township; Anthony Louis Martin Jr., 30, of Philadelphia; David Rivera Jr., 21, of Philadelphia; Justin Lee Rush, 23, of Bristol Township; and Shareef Hakeem Taylor, 33, of Philadelphia, were arraigned early Monday morning on charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, and disorderly conduct by on-call District Judge Mick Petrucci. Beck and Rush were also each charged with a drug-related offense.

Officers were called to the 200 block of Pinewood Drive at 7:35 p.m. for a fight in progress. They arrived to find a man with “severe injuries and bleeding” to his face, according to court papers.

Responding officers gathered the descriptions of the suspects and used a witness to identify the suspects, police said.

The men were taken into custody following the incident.

Beck was found to have suspect marijuana on him, and Rush was found with suspected marijuana and suspected methamphetamine, police said.

What led to the alleged assault was not released by investigators.

All five men were arraigned and released on $50,000 unsecured bail.
