A man was charged early Monday in relation to a shooting that happened Sunday afternoon in Falls Township’s Levittown section.
Jason Brennan, 25, who has recent addresses in Langhorne and Bristol Township’s Croydon section, was arraigned at 4 a.m. Monday on two counts of aggravated assault and single counts of firearms not to be carried without a license, reckless endangerment, possession of an instrument of crime with intent, possession of a weapon, and terroristic threats.

According to Falls Township police, officers were called to Buttonwood Lane for a shooting report. Upon pulling up, officers found a man with multiple gunshot wounds to his right arm.
Lt. Nelson Whitney said the man was taken to St. Mary Medical Center and treated for his injuries.
The man who was shot told investigators that just before the shooting he noticed Brennan, a former acquaintance, in a white Chevrolet Equinox SUV parked outside his home. The man went to speak with Brennan, police said.

Brennan reportedly told the man “you don’t belong here and “you better leave.”
The man spotted a gun with Brennan and called out for his girlfriend to take cover and dial 9-1-1. The girlfriend was outside with the couple’s 2-year-old child at the time, police said.

The man went into his home and picked up two handguns, police said.
While returning to Brennan’s vehicle, the 25-year-old man allegedly fired his gun from inside the SUV, striking the Buttonwood Lane man in the arm, police said.
The man returned fire, striking Brennan’s Chevrolet Equinox as he fled the neighborhood, police said.

After information was obtained by Falls Township police, Brennan was spotted in Bristol Township’s Croydon section and taken into custody by that township’s police, authorities said.
At the time of his arrest, Brennan had a loaded handgun, police said.

The Chevrolet Equinox suffered a damaged rear window and had bullet holes in it, police said.
Neighbors told LevittownNow.com that numerous shell casings were marked by detectives Sunday evening as they investigated the shooting outside of the home.

On-call District Judge Daniel Finello sent Brennan to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10 percent of $3 million bail.
Brennan is awaiting trial on a misdemeanor drug-related case out of Middletown. He is also slated to have a preliminary hearing on a separate misdemeanor drug-related out of Bristol Township. In both cases, bail was set at $1,000 unsecured, according to court dockets.
