
The advisors of the Bristol Borough Education Fund met last month to award $8,800 in grants to Bristol Borough School District teachers to support projects and programs.
The funds will help students throughout the borough’s schools.

The following programs were awarded funding:
- $2,500 Writer’s Voice (BHS)
- $1,000 Silver Lake Nature Center (Grade 4)
- $1,000 Day at the Theatre (Enrichment Grades 4 to 6)
- $1,000 Delaware River Excursion (Enrichment Grades 4 to 6)
- $750 Math Night (SGES)
- $650 Drama Club (BJSHS)
- $600 Active Learning Stools (Kindergarten)
- $500 Document Camera (Grade 5)
- $500 Document Camera (Learning Support Grade 6)
- $300 Lock-in Program (Grades 7 to 8)
The Bristol Borough Education Fund was created by the Grundy Foundation in 2008 and has awarded $81,763 to enhance learning in the district.
The Bristol Borough Education Fund is funded by endowment growth, teachers’ payroll deductions, and fundraising.
