Following kind gestures that happened in the New York City area and other places hit hard by COVID-19, the Bucks County Commissioners are asking all residents to thank those on the front lines in a simple way.
The Commissioners are asking residents to thank nurses, doctors, and emergency medical workers by standing outside or opening their windows at 7 p.m. every night Wednesday through Wednesday, April 15 to clap.

“It’s a way that we can say thank you to all of those people,” Commissioner Chairperson Diane Ellis-Marseglia said Wednesday.
The simple action is a way residents to show their appreciation for those risking their health during this crisis.
