In a bid to help one small business, another is purchasing dozens and dozens of loaves of bread to give away.
The Turkish American Club of Levittown, a coffee shop, in the 1500 block of Haines Road in Bristol Township’s Levittown section will be giving up to 150 loaves of fresh bread this week at their storefront between noon and 4 p.m. Friday.

Sevda Catal, one of the operators of the Turkish American Club of Levittown, said the vendor that sells them bread is struggling due to COVID-19-related business closures and the Levittown business is stepping forward to purchase his bread to help him stay afloat.
“We don’t want him to lose business, so this support to keep him going,” Catal said. “He needs to stay in business.”
The business is starting with 150 loaves this week and could increase their order to 200 next week.
