A proposal for 34 townhomes in Bristol Township’s Croydon section is being reworked.
The proposal from Northampton-based Gallagher Realty Group LLC was on the agenda for the Bristol Township Zoning Hearing Board at their Monday evening meeting. Late last week, the developer took the proposal for two lots – one 2.3 acres and the other 5.8 acres – at the intersection of Magnolia and Woodland avenues off the table, township officials said.

Residents have circulated a petition that has gathered more than 200 signatures against the townhome plan.
A reworked proposal of a development with a smaller footprint is expected to be resubmitted to the township in the coming months.
The zoners are still expected to consider variances for a new industrial building proposed by Lower Makefield-based Anthony Phyllis Circle LLC on Phyllis Drive in Croydon. In addition, J. Tretter and Sons is requesting variances to build an addition on a home on Malinda Drive.
