With students from across all the grades at the Falls Township school cheering from the sidelines, fifth grades took to the gridiron for the flag football tournament that raised donations of food and money for the Bucks County Emergency Homeless Shelter in Bristol Township and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). The teams – the Kean Kongs, Melnick Mashers, Miller Mean Machines, and Toledano Tornadoes – took the field with their teacher’s leading them.
The tournament ended with the Miller Mean Machines taking the championship, and the Toledano Tornadoes’ Austin Petry being named most valuable player.
Ahead of the big game, the Phillie Phanatic visited a pep rally held in the school’s gym.
