Phillie Phanatic Visits Bristol Twp. Students

The Phillie Phanatic made a stop in Bristol Township on Thursday.

The Philadelphia Phillies’ mascot came by Mill Creek Elementary School in Levittown after teacher Margie Zielinski won an essay contact as part of the Phanatic About Reading program.

Principal Sharon Vitella read the students books while the Phillie Phanatic, Zielinski, and several staff members helped act scenes out, the district said.

Zielinski and teacher Jennifer Clayton had the classes with the top reading achievements.
